It's almost the man-made New Year... but did you know, it's not God's?!
that you get when the temperature begins to rise, buds begin to emerge and the air takes on a new freshness after the frigidness of winter - that is when our new year begins (and your body knows it)!
So if you've ever found it challenging to begin anew when everything is cold, dark and frost covered - there's a reason for that! We are part of the creation cycle; the natural rhythms of each season were woven into us too. So it's ok to give yourself grace right now, if your "new year" looks different from the resolutions, resets and hustle that you see all around you. I feel that God is positioning me right now; prepping me for some big things to unfold. So you're not going to find anything flashy on this platform just because it's about to hit January 1!!! This doesn't mean we can't work and make progress if we feel led to do so. But, we shouldn't feel pressured into it (especially by social media) if our souls are aching to catch up to our bodies after the busyness of a full holiday season. So share with me in the comments - does winter rest resonate with you? Does a spring new year feel right with your soul? Or are you team "new year new you"?

I love, love the idea of winter rest and a spring reset! This has been a busy few months and I don’t enjoy the winter as I feel alive in the spring and summer! I love this message! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, my friend ♥️
