Friends this is your Invitation to Surrender. When the world's ways aren't working (leaving you exhausted, frustrated and unfulfilled)... it's time to Reset and step into the ways of the Kingdom (where you'll find peace, contentment and joy that can only come from God). I truly believe that God has something waiting for you here; and I feel blessed to walk with you as we uncover those gifts. This is going to be a fun weekend of transformation!
The Well-Led Life: Lifestyle Reset Retreat... an Invitation to Surrender
This is a total Lifestyle Reset based on The 4 Pillars of Rhythm - Resting, Planning, Loving and Serving... all created on a foundation of faith. It will be a full weekend teaching away at Bobbie's Rustic Mountain Cabin that will allow a very small group of women (3 to 4+ Bobbie) to reflect on their own life - to see where they are led to make changes & tweaks so their hearts, minds and daily actions are in alignment with God’s word and God’s will! I will take you step by step through the process so you come out of it on Sunday with your own new perspective and action plan for your unique journey.
It will be a deep and thoughtful time incorporated with fun and rest... all for you to ultimately develop:

It will be a deep and thoughtful time incorporated with fun and rest... all for you to ultimately develop:
- God-focused perspectives,
- a slower more intentional pace, and
- new daily lifestyle choices to step into a God-led life
All this allowing you to:
- fulfill your Kingdom calling,
- redefine productivity & abundance and
- discover the kind of joy the world can't provide!
LET'S LOOK CLOSER AT THE 4 PILLARS...
Embracing Jesus’ pace and allowing ourselves to not only rest,
but to enjoy it daily and use it as a sacred time.
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
Creating the structure & space to make major life transformation…
to say no, to slow down, to be led, live intentionally and enjoy life.
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Romans 12:12
Taking care of yourself so that you have the internal resources
to live into your purpose (loving God & loving others) and into your Kingdom calling.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. Matthew 22:37
Doing all the things (care-taking, homemaking & working) in His honor and for His glory.
Ultimately adopting an attitude and heart of servitude.
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as if working for the Lord. Colossians 3:23
Together we will take a deep dive into each of these Pillars as they directly apply to your unique life.
As we follow this process of teaching, learning, and journaling answers (to questions & prompts you'll receive in a workbook) there will also be time for open discussions. (But you'll never be obligated to participate openly if you don’t feel comfortable. Sometimes we just need to sit back and take it in, and that’s ok! I’m releasing you from any pressure to publicly perform! With that said, some people are helped by the process of speaking things out loud and talking through them, or even hearing how others are doing things & gathering ideas that way... so that is why I felt an open discussion was important. And I didn’t figure you’d want to listen to me talk all weekend!)
- You'll learn the REASON - an explanation of each pillar based in scripture. This is where the “teaching” happens.
- Then with thought-provoking questions and prompts you'll REFLECT on what your lifestyle looks like now.
- Followed by time to REEVALUATE life going forward. This process will guide you through new possibilities, and potential tweaks and changes you feel led to make.
- Last you'll land in the RESET section focusing on where you’d like to commit to creating transformation, there we’ll have quiet time to gather our thoughts and get them onto paper. This will also be the area in which we’ll pull from to create your journey steps on Sunday.

WANNA KNOW MORE?! HOW ABOUT A GLIMPSE INTO THE LOCATION AND MEALS...
This weekend getaway will be held at Bobbie's Rustic Mountain Cabin located in McVeytown, PA (Mifflin County, 2 hours NW from Lancaster).
DRIVE: An easy drive to this serene setting in the mountains will land you at my off-grid cabin (don't worry we use a generator for power and have running water and a newly renovated bathroom lol). The pace of life slows down when you reach the long mountain side driveway (we do recommend an suv or truck for getting up it). At the end of the drive you'll be greeted by the little red cabin which sits happily on 12 wooded acres with sweeping views of the surrounding valley and distant mountain. You'll use the quiet slower pace to connect with nature, your thoughts, new friends and most importantly, God.
GUEST ROOMS: These retreats will be for a very small group (3 + Bobbie). Your nights will be spent in the cabin's upstairs shared bedroom area which has 2 double-sized beds available (or a semi-private bedroom with a queen bed which is also upstairs). A relaxing sound machine, essential oils in a diffuser and moon views through the skylights will lull you to sleep. One shared bathroom on the main floor includes natural bath products and whatever amenities you may need for a weekend away. Grab a friend for a fun girl's weekend of transformation - or make a new friend when you arrive!
COMMON AREA: Beyond the bedroom, you'll be welcomed to make yourself at home in the cabin's common areas (which are plentiful despite the seemingly small size of the cabin from the outside). Sit in front of the huge stone fireplace, at one of the dining tables, on the comfy living room furniture or in the bright sunroom overlooking the nearby pond & distant mountain. The vibe is rustic, hunting and hygge-filled with comfortable make-yourself-at-home furniture and will be the ideal place for us to learn, reflect and laugh together.
OUTSIDE: Describing outside at the cabin makes me think of this poem:
For the beauty of the skies
For the love which from our birth
Over and around us lies
Lord of all, to Thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise.
For the beauty of each hour
Of the day and of the night
Hill and vale, and tree and flow’r
Sun and moon and stars of light
Lord of all, to Thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise.
– Folliott S. Pierpoint, 1864
Whether we find starry skies on a crystal clear night or watch a storm roll in across the valley... it's a wonderful place to be. We may sit around a fire pit, take a walk on the trails, rock on the porch, visit the pond or just relax in an Adirondack chair. I promise throughout the weekend you'll have moments to pause and exhale the world's way as you breathe in a fresh new way... the only true way... God's way.

WHAT ELSE? LET'S NOT FORGET ABOUT THE FUN & FELLOWSHIP...
We simply can't forget about the fun and fellowship... this is an essential part of the rhythm of the retreat. We're not just looking for room to learn & grow, but to surrender & rest, and laugh & have fun too! It should mirror life... a beautiful ebb and flow of all parts.
WHAT? WAIT... FOR REAL? THERE'S MORE?
- Restful Guided Meditation
- {it's simple and relaxing... and will open your mind to the idea of surrender}
- Practicing Shinrin-Yoku
- {don't be scared - it's basically a calming, almost therapeutic, walk in the woods!}
- Worship Music Around The Campfire
- {as we overlook the land, woods and mountain view, with dessert of course - what could be more fun}
- An Early "Bedtime"
- {we'll wrap up each night by 8:30 pm so you can unwind slowly and sleep deeply}
- Brain Breaks Throughout
- {so you can step away, clear your mind, check on your family, get to know the other guests, or just be still}
- Empowering Guided Meditation
- {a fun way to create the clarity & confidence to deeply instill these new perspectives before you head back home}
WHAT? WAIT... FOR REAL? THERE'S MORE?
Yes, girl I couldn't help myself... there's more!! I've included two unique additions to this retreat because they will truly add an extra layer of value and ensure a positive outcome.
- The Rest Well Accountability Program
- 30 days leading up the the retreat you will have the option to participate in this virtual accountability program. It is to instill the reasoning for the Rest Pillar and create the space and rhythm in your routines and daily life that will allow you to fully embrace a time of rest (not only a sleep schedule, but those moments to pause and rest in & with God). These 30 days will give you the chance to reset your system, embracing a healthy bedtime, power down hour, morning routine and breaks within the day. Sounds like a breath of fresh air right?!
- One Hour 1-1 Support Session Coaching
- This is you and me hashing out all of the things post retreat! After you've crafted a plan, transitioned back to "real-life", and are ready to talk about progress, make tweaks or ask for feedback & direction. We'll have this one on one live connection on Microsoft Teams (or potentially in person if you're local!) about 2 weeks after the retreat to support everything you've learned and begun to implement. This is included in the retreat cost and really sets this event apart. I want you to feel supported even after you leave the weekend and encouraged to continue on with the good works you begin there.
This is an investment, not just to include everything you've read about (and more that you'll just have to look excitedly forward to)... but really the investment is in yourself. In your family, your home, your future... it's an investment in your life. Although I like to have fun (and make corny jokes sometimes) I do not take any of this lightly. I view this as God's work that I'm blessed to have been chosen for. I'm just the instrument He's using to bring change, hope and a new rhythm into your life. With that I pray you'll view this investment as something that's going to pay you back in a richer way than any dollar saved ever could. Here's to transformation my friend!
